I decided to give this album a try even though I wasn't really digging their latest album sampled off their bandcamp. This one is pretty good! It's kind of relaxing to listen to with the folk instrumentation brought to the fore and a softened black vocalist hardly audible in the background. I'm not sure why it has a Progressive folk metal label here though. I can't really find anything Progressive about their style, I would say maybe Blackened Melodic Folk Metal, if that's even a proper category, but certainly enjoyable and worth checking out if you like Folk metal.

Anyone else got the cd version? The volume on mine drops after the first few songs. The download doesn't, so I'm wondering if it's something on the cd version.
