Okay, it does look a little better when it's bigger. I'm man enough to admit that.

Perhaps it's a commentary on Metallica and its ilk about how such bands simply don't know when to quit.

Yeahhhh you're probably reading into it too much. It's probably just a bad song

Yuck. And why?!?!?!

I'm sure some people will disagree with me, but seriously, 33 minutes of a plodding riff with core yells on it and BASTA. I am aware I described almost all the genre, but this track is seriously everything you could have done wrong with post-metal. 33 fucking minutes, with a maximum of 8 minutes of interest in there. I might not have much patience, but I usually can find it in me for Black Sheep Wall. Not this time.

If it sounds like I'm being deep and serious about something I'm probably not. That's a key thing to note. I'm basically a living, walking Carry On... film in real life.

Maybe the EP title is a prediction of what you're going to do if you listen to this.

Haha, it's a full-length, but basically yeah. Was going to review it, but I can't take the numerous listens and the fumbling around, skipping in that track a million times to get to the details I want to talk about. I'll leave it for someone who's more patient and/or likes it, I review enough of annoying stuff

Sorry Joe, but you don't do enough dodgy innuendos. I don't know if you're a sleazy, pervy old man either.

I'd probably say the latter is true to a decent extent, though I suppose that doesn't come across much on here. I wish there was an MS emoticon that represented Sid James's laugh. I'd use that a lot most probably

I think if a song on an album is actually that bad you shouldn't be obligated to listen to it multiple times for a review... IMO mentioning something like "____ song was boring and hard to listen to more than once" would suffice, if you explain why it's bad more. But on the other hand there seems to be a good number of people on this site who have their own little magic numbers of how many times you need to listen to something before you can say anything about it, like 5 or whatever.

I'm not the kind to have such restrictions for myself (the magic number you're talking about). I just like to write a review knowing I didn't miss anything I find important. Sometimes it takes a few spins, sometimes it doesn't. It just happens that this track takes up more than half of the album, I just couldn't write a review without listening to it properly in my opinion.

Oh okay. In that case (this is an assumption only based on what happens to me a lot) I guess drifting in and out of paying attention probably has some factor since the song is so long. But for example Venom's 2011 album I only listened to once before writing the review and never again (and never will again). So I don't care about magic numbers either
