Marula is an album that probably slipped by most atmospheric metal fans in 2014.

"Her Lovely Hands Upon The Black Earth" is a superb song. Thoughtful lyrics across the album too.

Absolutely gorgeous album. What I hear is a blend of some progressive dynamics of the Tool, Soen ilk and soothing soundscape more reminiscent of Cloud kicker, Karnivool music. The vocals don't really stand-out but supports the sound really well. But they do push the envelope in "Comfort" during after-chorus sections. "A Shore Uncertainty" - can't get that off my head.

Really cool album, and I suppose I'm in the minority that actually likes the vocals. A promising band for sure.

Nope, the vocals are astounding. I'm surprised anyone wouldn't think they stand out.

Good stuff, but they play it too safe most of the time.
