Evan Brewer - Your Itinerary

Love this guy's playing, glad there are still guys in the metal world not afraid to mix it up a bit and pump out some instrumental solo efforts like this for the pure enjoyment of making music rather than remain playing a subgenre of a subgenre for their entire career to milk target market fanbases until they disappear in favor of the next.

I actually dug this more than his solo debut due to the inclusion of more instruments. Alone was great in the all bass approach and has some stand out work but this seems to flow through a bit more so which keeps me more engrossed while listening.

I'm anxious to see what his new band Entheos is all about. The Faceless is/was a solid band/project but didn't give a lot of room for him to stretch. Whatever the result I hope he merges with a good group that plays well off each other at some point.
