Vicious Art (Swedish Death/Thrash)

So is anybody into this amazing Swedish band? They consist completely of ex-members of old bands like Dark Funeral, Grave, Entomed, etc. I have their album Fire Falls and the Waiting Waters and I think it's one of the better death metal albums that I own. Vicious Art has a lot of energy and like the subject title says, a strong thrash edge. Their style isn't amazingly original, but the songs are quite catchy and memorable, with some semi-melodic elements as well. Surely they must be due another release soon.

(There was a thread about Vicious Art before - I think I even had it in my 'favourites' - but it must've been on the old version of MS as I can't find it now).

Well I was looking through their website and they are still active. It's just that some of the members' wives are having kids. So I won't hold my breath for a new album yet.

Yeah, this is an amazing band. Love the viciousness that Jocke and Jörgen have in theri vocals. Combined theri just. Fantastic.

Disappointing... most of the riffs are stale
