Pants-crappingly awesome extreme progressive metal. Think Dillinger Escape Plan fused with like 10 other genres. Full review here.

Mini-review I wrote for my list:

A barrage of - the occasionally blackened - prog sludge riffs heavily influenced by contemporary progressive tech death dissonance (see Pyrrhon) and djent guitar tones layered with chaotic screeches, engendering an Atheist-like vibe. The down-tuned guitars sculpt the gritty nature of the genre into a beast of refined, methodical hatred. Ominous interludes flavoured with proggy psychedelia bubble into climaxes of monumental proportions. The beefy stoner passages backed by cavernous clean vocals - typically multi-tracked into dense harmonies - give rise to a resemblance to New Keepers Of The Water Towers. The frequent droning, low-key, chanted vocals - filtered through a slab of reverb - weaved with unconventional experimentation render their already unique style all the more so. I was especially blown away by the track "The Offering" - start with that one if you wish.

This is interesting, but nowhere near 9-material.

I've had this tagged as 'to listen' for years, didn't really have much expectation for it but pleasantly surprised. It's pretty varied, but in a way that feels natural, with the extreme prog of songs such as TKV, against the pleasant instrumental melodicism of EYNIH, and the savage cybergrind of Basilisk. Definitely some songs more up my street than others, but pretty good all round
