Quite unsure after those 2 songs... they seem kinda boring and slower...

probably i said it wrong... their song arrangements seem easier, those 2 songs are pretty soft (in the previous album many songs had some really great outbreaks) and the songs are easier to get into (which is bad most times, at least when we are talking about albums like their previous one). but you could be fucking less ironic.

Songs that are "easier to get into", as you put it, aren't worse. Don't be silly.

No, I couldn't be less ironic in all the 4 words I said.

of course they are not worse, but at the same time some of the most intriguing albums of the past years tend to be difficult to get into... and Tribulation's previous album was one of them...

you could say more words then..

Tribulation's previous album wasn't difficult to get into, at all. It was a great album, but easy to get into. The new album is on a par with th previous album, btw.

I wasn't even aware it was actually from anything.

Lemme guess: A French surrealist film?

Well, then that makes it even worse. They managed to turn a still from a supposedly great film (I gotta assume it is since apparently it was directed by the same guy who made Fantômas, of which I saw a portion of in my Art of Film class and really liked) into a dorky cover that not only stands alone from the context from the movie it's based on but also has no relation to the film as a whole aside from "fitting the theme." That's laziness made manifest right there.
