Dendritic Arbor - Romantic Love

(8.5/9/9: 8.8) Superbly ordered-chaos. Defining the genre is difficult. It's like black grind with the occasional drone. Blasts of discordant guitars, changing time signatures, and somewhat grim vocals that occasionally reminded me of Absu. It's very interesting and firmly engaging despite being one of the more a-melodic things I have heard this year. It's only $5 on bandcamp. Stream it HERE. Full review HERE.

Chaotic combination of black and grin. I love how ironically coherent the whole thing is, despite being constantly offensively discordant and random. Had not been challenged by a black metal record in while, and this just does the job.
PS: it does not sound like malthusian at all.
