Forefather is an unique band, really, this is their fifth album and the first one under the banner of a big label, Karmageddon Media, it took years to these guys to get signed, but finally we get "Ours Is The Kingdom" a fine piece of Anglo-Saxon Metal.

Wait! Anglo-Saxon Metal? What the hell is that? I don't know if we're dealing with the first Anglo-Saxon Metal of the world, but is a matter of concepts, think of Viking Metal, but instead of placing them on the Nordic peninsula, place them on the United Kingdom.

Great album well maybe similar as others, but same time this is great. My fav song from this band 'the 'shield wall'' ever, and it makes this stronger
Rest songs are weaker, but still good, seems band don't lose inspiration, best and maybe only English band in a genre, (rest might be undrerground) in that time

My favourite Forefather album (and the first one I ever bought - which may admittedly be a contributing factor). Steadfast is excellent too but this seems to take a few more risks and is less polished. Shield Wall is a killer opener and others like Proud to be Proud and Golden Dragon are instantly addictive.
