Hello everyone. This will be the official MS topic where I post news about my label (future releases and distro updates).

Rude Awakening Records is a DIY record label focused exclusively on Metal reissues. There's no limit, generally speaking, I just don't like extremely modern stuff such as Deathcore or politically involved bands.

Rude Awakening Records is proud to announce the reissue of Disphere debut album, "Abscience", originally self-released in 2007.

Born in Naples in 2006 as a trio led by Pirozzi brothers, early years sound was inspired by acclaimed extreme Metal bands such as Cynic, Meshuggah and Cephalic Carnage, and brought them to compose "Abscience", a promo lasting slightly longer than 30 minutes with eight fierce tracks. The band's sound will evolve across ten years of career diverting from previous influences to incorporate Alternative and Post Metal elements, represented nowadays by their fourth full length, "Mountain.Crushing.Waves." (2015).

Shortly "Abscience" will be reissued as a professional CD, 300 hand-numbered copies with a new artwork, destined for extreme Italian underground Metal maniacs. DISPHERE will be the first band proudly reissued by Rude Awakening Records in November. Artwork and audio previews will be revealed soon, stay tuned on official label channels!

After "Inborn", a new track is available for streaming by Italian band Disphere for their debut reissue by Rude Awakening Records.

The chosen track is "To Walk The Earthquake", fourth song on "Abscience" anticipating the forthcoming release on 300 hand-numbered copies worldwide.

Release date is set for 25th November 2015, "Abscience" copies will be available directly from from our website. In the meanwhile, check out official label channels for streaming!

"Italian Thrash Relics - Vol. I": first details revealed!
Rude Awakening Records and DeathStorm Records are proud to show the result of a profitable collaboration, entitled "Italian Thrash Relics", the first chapter of a series of releases thought to rediscover Italian thrash demos from the 80s and the 90s, forgotten by masses but still but still alive in those who lived the golden era of Thrash Metal.
Every split will see two Italian bands, for a cd release with a new artwork and a booklet full of informations and photos.
Let's start with FURIOUS BARKING and DESMODUS, here represented by "De-Industrialized" (1991) and Human Wreck" (1992), originally self produced by the bands, respectively on vinyl and on tape and now remastered.
New artwork was made by Andrea Pini (http://www.andreapini.net).

After unveiling the bands who will take part to first release of "Italian Thrash Relics"and the artwork by the artist Andrea Pini, DeathStorm Records and Rude Awakening Records are proud to spread two tracks for streaming, part of the newborn series totally devoted to the Italian old school Thrash movement.

DESMODUS will come first with the tracks "Human Wreck" and "See The Light", only available in their 1992 demotape and now remastered; these tracks can be listened on the label's official channels (YouTube, Bandcamp, Soundcloud).

MALDOROR from Turin (Italy) will be the third band to be released on Rude Awakening Records: specifically, the label goes on with its work of rare and out of print reissues with the full length "In Saturn Mystique", second and last record of the cult Black Metal band under this monicker.

Same as the previous releases by Rude Awakening Records, this one will be limited to 300 hand-numbered CDs, unique pieces with exclusive merch included for early supporters (more details will follow).

The mastermind of the band himself, Marco Castagnetto, also known for his work as art illustrator and currently bringing on his latest avantgarde musical project Shabda, will take care of the artwork and the remastering of "In Saturn Mystique", originally published in 2000.

The release date is still to be confirmed, but probably it will happen in January 2017. Details about the tracklist will follow soon, too.

After announcing the reissue of the second full length by Italian blacksters MALDOROR, Rude Awakening Records is proud to unveil the cover drawn by Marco Castagnetto, illustrator and founder of the band, currently active as musician in TMK - Textbook of Modern Karate and Shabda. The third release by the label comes 17 years after the original press of "In Saturn Mystique".

As a preview, on the official label channels (YouTube and Soundcloud) you can find the track "E.O.N. Mysterium" anticipating the complete streaming on the major providers as the record is officially out, probably in the early months of 2017. "In Saturne Mystique" has also been totally remastered by Marco Castagnetto himself and there will be a special bonus track too, long unavailable elsewhere on physical format.

This reissue will be limited to 300 hand-numbered copies worldwide and it will come with an exclusive metal shaped pin with the logo of the band for the first 30 copies, a piece of art by LHP Illustration/Emanacion Siniestra (well known for working with bands such as Portal, Teitanblood, Mournful Congregation and many more).

The release of "In Saturn Mystique" reissue by Italian Black Metal cult band MALDOROR is getting nearer and nearer. Rude Awakening Records is taking care of the re-release of the last full length published by the band under this monicker, before changing name to Thee Maldoror Kollective.
The second advance track unveiled on official YouTube and Soundcloud label channels is "Osiris Elettro Mantum (Pt. 1 Tenebra Solaris, Pt. 2 Adoneus Veni Ad Nos)", fourth track within a tracklist of seven: the last and bonus track will be "H.O.D. MALDOROR: one month to the release date of "In Saturn Mystique" reissue

Less than one month missing the official release date of "In Saturn Mystique" reissue, set for January 15th.
The new edition of MALDOROR second full length will be published by Rude Awakening Records, after a profitable collaboration with the band mastermind Marco Castagnetto, who took care both of brand new artwork and audio remastering.

Only 300 hand-numbered copies will be out, and the first 50 will also include a metal pin with the early logo of the Italian Black Metal band, directly available only by the label.

Moreover, thanks to an agreement with Sepulchral Silence, this reissue will also be available online on the main streaming and download providers (Spotify, Deezer, iTunes, Tidal, etc.).
