Frontman Myles Kennedy, guitarist Mark Tremonti and company have started working on Alter Bridge's new record. You might remember their last record, 2013's acclaimed Fortress. The hard rock band has returned to the studio to create their fifth album. it is being produced by Michael 'Elvis' Baskette, and it's expected to arrive in the autumn.

They also teamed with Fret12 to give you a chance to own a piece of Alter Bridge history. Limited-edition tie-in products are being offered at this location and include guitars and drumsticks used during recording, lyric sheets, artwork and VIP access to the band.

Nice. Alter Bridge is probably one of the best mainstream hard rock bands out there currently. I'm excited for whatever it is they decide to do next.
