I'm probably going to sign up for an Egg one too that's for pick up the same location. Only $.50 more than supermarket eggs. I'd be crazy to not do that.
We grow our own vegetables and peaches but we know a friend with a cattle farm out here so we get from them but it’s not delivered, though that would be really nice
While Cult Of Luna are busy doing five shows with Julie Christmas this week, let's listen once again to what's probably the best post-stuff album this year.
I really enjoyed Vertikal a lot but am not aware of Battle Of Mice or Made Out Of Babies so can't expect how much of quality this is gonna be or how it's gonna sound. Hope they pull it off well.
Because CoL is not on your favorite bands list The news article is here since yesterday.
Yeah, I've got them on my update list now. But that song was my first encounter with CoL and I got excited. I'll be catching up with their discography, it seems.
Hmm, I feel like compared to previous albums of theirs, this might be the one that most closely replicates the sonic atmosphere of the preceding album - this does have a real Vertikal feel for me in between the production, keyboard sounds, slightly mechanical feel and so on. I don't think the songs are quite up there with the best from Vertikal, but on the whole they're pretty damn solid, and for the most part I enjoy Julie Christmas's contributions. Very interesting album on the whole, would probably rank Chevron and Cygnus as the strongest song but I like them all really
The last few minutes of Cygnus are just an awesome exercise in delicate layering up of instrumental and vocal parts into one huge climax. This album is really great
Absolutely love Julie Christmas's vocals on this. Really elevate the music.
Totally! They should ask her to join the band permanently lol. She has that "lightning in a bottle" type of emotional vocals that complements Cult Of Luna's post-metal atmospheres in the best way possible.
This may just beat out Somewhere Along The Highway as their magnum opus. This may also be my album of the year so far.

I totally agree with this. Just add her to the band already, she makes Cult of Luna sound so much more interesting.
Very forgettable to me. Don't know what the fuss is about. Vertikal was really good but this just doesn't compare. Maybe I should check out Battle of Mice as well before listening to this. Will try that.
It's a great album but I find it lacking of any real kind of staying power. Dunno why but I almost never choose this album when I'm in the mood for some CoL.
