Here is their message: "You Are The Label! Since the beginning of our career, like most bands, Adagio has been working with third party record labels. Today, after a successful test with Stéphan's 2nd solo album Enigma Opera Black, we have decided to sign Adagio and release our fifth album Life along with the band's back catalogue (Archangels In Black excepted) through Stéphan's label Zeta Nemesis. The Zeta Nemesis team will fully handle publishing, management, merchandising, PR, marketing, graphic design, web design, physical and digital distribution duties internally.
"Now, to do things correctly, releasing music internationally requires a huge investment (approximately 50.000 Euros). For a young label such as Zeta Nemesis, without the backing of any investors, it's almost impossible to obtain the funds required to release Life properly. So we've been thinking, and realized the most obvious fact ever! Who are the buyers? The fans. So, why should we ask anyone besides the fans for an advance?
"Zeta Nemesis has already financed half of the costs, approximately 25.000 Euros. To cover the second half of these expenses and release this new Adagio album under the best possible circumstances, we need your support. Well in a way it's not bad news, even tho I don't know shit about this band  If they manage to collect enough money they will be able to make the music they love while not selling their ass to some publishing house. Hope they manage to do so !

I always find weird to give money to someone strange, mostly because no one assures me that they will manage the money in a proper way. Who assures me that they properly manage the money I'm financing? And why they have no money to finance now? Bad management? This is why I think bands nowadays should have some working capital to prevent crowdfundings.
