Yet another record that I'm hearing a bit too late. This feels a bit basic and dry for a drone record now. Not bad, but it does lack the mind bending essence of great drone records.

One of my favourite drone record this. Love the post metal influences.

Yeah Mahdi I'm gonna have to got with Mix on this. Hyatari are (were?) one of the best drone bands that gets criminally overlooked for some reason.

Surprised you think that. I consider the two on basically the same level of excellence. What is it you find lacking in They Will Surface, out of curiosity?

It's been a while but I recall the post elements not really appealing to me on this one at all. Just felt too soft and kind of repetitive. I really prefer the heavier focus on the debut and it seems a bit more varied tbh.
