Forgotten Tomb have been working on a new album and the recordings started back in December. The successor to Hurt Yourself And The Ones You Love released in 2015 is said to be released this year. However, frontman Herr Morbid got seriously injured in an accident recently and the recording sessions were postponed and all shows cancelled.

The band explained: "Hey folks, sorry for the recent lack of news. Our mainman F. got seriously injured in an accident 1 month ago and consequences have been that the recording-sessions for the new album got postponed and all upcoming shows/tours got cancelled, since he's unable to perform both in studio and live. He's recovering fast though and we'll keep you posted about our next moves. The album will drop sometime in 2017, details will be revealed as soon as we are able to get back into the studio."
