I loved Gloomlord but I found this release disappointing. The solos don't match the texture/theme the album is going for and the synths can be rather obnoxious in some places. Glad I didn't pre-order the album without listening to the entire album first.

Empire Of The Necromancers was a pretty banging track. I liked the combination of sounds overall; not something I'll return to, but I had a very good time with it whilst it was on

This is a terrific death doom release, such a great atmosphere and sound which fits perfectly with the swampy cover-art, and the deep growls are excellent. Every track is great but "Cloaked In Nightwinds" is probably the main stand out for me.
