For the uninformed, xDeathcorex iz definitely THA mozt authentic toughguy genre eva. Combining the blunt br00tality of deff methul and the relentless aggression of HxC, xDeathcorex iz basically a hybrid mash-up of the bestest elements of both offspring of the devil's musiq. 4 realz.
IDK why but despite being one of the mozt interesting buzzgenres of the last couple of years, xDeathcorex iz also a much hated genre. What the eff, ppl? Don't be hatin' on an entire genre solely bc of the pokemon haircuts, the flat-brimmed caps and the mesh shorts. That's just, y'know, pretentious, and totally a matter of snobbism.

True, the genre might be plagued with countless run-of-the-mill $hitty bands / popalr poser pussays. But lettuce be reality, mozt ppl are just dissing xDeathcorex

Finally listened to some of this stuff. Animosity: moar liek original HxC. Not too bad. Despised Icon/Ion Dissonance: seen them live before, didn't do a thing for me. I The Breather: Run-of-the-mill stuff All Shall Perish: Always relevant. At least dey got da groove. Born of Osiris: got interested due to their ties with Tosin Abasi. Will stick to his solo stuff though. Couldn't really listen through the other bands. Stuff's too brutal for me (group 1's POV). Or "totally...fucking...immense...crap" (group 2's POV).

I agree with Luka above me. Whatever it is, I cant seem to get into deathcore purely because it feels like there is no flow to it and it is pointless screaming, heavy chords, and drum mashing all mixed into a 3 minute fail fest. I cant see the semblance of talent behind it... I could go ahead and make a typical shitty deathcore band today and tour to have kids who have no idea what real music is practically crawling over me. Dont get me started on how many kids I know that like Chelsea Grin or JFAC I did laugh at this article though...Sadly disappointed when it wasnt a flame
