Another Mortician album, this time those two guys really made an effort to accomplish finally an album with awesome production, good guitar riffs, more and more movie sound clips, Drums that sound like a machinegun, and really low vocals.
This could sound as an average Mortician album right? Well this time the answer is no, I mean, Yes those elements are still there, but this time you can find some catchy riffs and even some structured songs, that's incredible if you stick to the fact that mortician is all about noise and bad production, this time even the production is great, the album sounds loud and clear, and finally we can hear perfectly the stumpy bass and distorted guitar, don't ask about the vocals that in fact sound better but then again we can't understand a single word of the song without reading the lyrics(I think I heard some words but I am not sure?)
The songs are cool in a Mortician kind of way, there are unpolished jewels all around the album, like the 8 track for example "Unseen Force Of Death", this song is very catchy and with a cool intro (not sure from which movie though) the drum machine is not as fast as in the other songs so that's great if you ask me, the riffs stick to the scale (Finally I hear a structured scale in Mortician's Work) and the bass as always is awesome (I mean a distorted bass is always incredible). The other songs in the album are mostly the same thing, different formula (compared with older Mortician albums), blasting drums, incredible bass effects, good guitar riffs (some riffs are even catchy), and in some songs great movie sound-clips (I am not sure of every clip but I heard some "Candyman" and "Slugs" ones).
Unquestionably one of the best Mortician albums, (I still think "Darkest Day Of Horror" is their best work), with some new twists and other fresh things that will impress every Mortician fan, a Great album cover (nothing really "New" in the cover I just think is great that's all) and really incredible music, for all those extreme Metal fans get it immediately (it's a little difficult though, because it's only available online at RedRum records and Primitive Recording), but if you are not into intense music just avoid it, don't even look at it cause you'll get scared.
Best Tracks: "Unseen Force Of Death", "Re-Animated Dead Flesh", "Human Beasts" (great intro about violent apes or something), "Claws Of Death
