This release is one on my dreams made true, and that's not because I was really expecting this, I didn't knew this band before I received the record, the really value of this Cd is that it comes from Iceland!

First, I don't have any Cd from Iceland, and second I've always wondered why a country with such Nordic/Pagan and Viking heritage doesn't spawn more Metal bands? Why the world must think of Björk when someone brings up Iceland? Maybe my wishes came reality, and we're at the brink of a whole new wave of Metal bands coming from Iceland? I hope so!

When I received this Cd, I suspected what was in store for me? just look at the cover: black and white, undecipherable logo, corpsepaint on each band member, yes... Another "tr00" Black metal release, with awful and obscure production.
To my surprise, this wasn't like I imagined, as a matter of fact, the production wasn't bad at all, (at least not Tr00 BM bad), greater surprise was when I found that the music isn't bad at all either! The guitar riffs were killer, and the vocals were pretty wicked too!

Songs are typical Black Metal I'm afraid, no innovation or new elements here, these guys took the right elements and put it together to create this album, not a masterpiece, but quite enjoyable I must say! Nothing wrong with lacking the most unique style in the genre, mostly if it's a debut album. Fans of Carpathian Forest and Marduk might wanna check this out.
