Audiovision is the second of the two Christian Rivel (Narnia) albums that just got released, and in my opinion the less impressive of the two.
Don't get me wrong here, "The Calling" is good, it really is, and all the incredible guest musicians are great too, but through-out the whole record, I've to say that the material was much better on DivineFire, and that album really touched me deeper than this.

As usual when it comes to Rivel, it's about Christian music, but as always it's as good done so you can enjoy it even if you're not religious, and I have to say that Rivel is a master on doing that, making Christian lyrics fit in so perfectly.
And Audiovision is no exception, already in the first song, "The Calling" you'll hear what I mean. But I can't deny that the song is catchy and I singing along after some spins.

I talked about famous guests earlier, and it's not any guest either, here you'll find famous Hard Rockers like Jeff Soto Scott (Talisman, Yngwie Malmsteen), Mats Levén (Krux, At Vance), Mic Michaeli (Europe), Thomas Vikström (Talisman, Brazen Abbot, ex- Candlemass), Mattias "IA" Eklundh (Freak Kitchen) & Janne Stark (Locomotive) among many others.
But you'll get the point, this album flows with famous contributions, and with such line-up you can't fail, and Audiovison doesn't fail, it's just not doing as good as DivineFire.

But there are strong tracks here as well, the opener "The Calling" is very good musically, and the track "Evil or Divine" has the best chorus, damn it's hard not to sing a long here. And the great cover of The Sweet's "Love if Like Oxygen" where Rivel and Soto Scott duets.
And Mr. Rivel shows us once again what a tremendous singer he is, he really can't sound bad, it doesn't matter what the quality of the song is, Rivel sounds terrific anyway.

As I said, personally I prefer DivineFire in front of Audiovision, even if both releases are much better than many other albums on the market today. But I guess it's a matter of taste, if you're more into the catchy and "nicer" Metal Audiovision stands for, this is for you, but if you want rawer, Thrashier Heavy like DivineFire, you should check that up.
But I recommend both, and then you can pick yours!

Check Out: "Evil of Divine" sing a long tune no.1.
