Bloodride comes from Finland and this time we're not in front of a new band which plays some Power or Gothic music, no this time we are in front of a true Thrash/Death Metal band, something for the Metalheads who like extreme music the real the aggressive one, the real brutality? Mates, if you are a fan of brutal Thrash Metal, if you want a band like Infernal Majesty with some touches of The Haunted? this first promising demo is for you.

The music of Bloodride is near of Infernal Majesty mixed with some Nordic Death Metal influences. Actually, when I listen to "Bloodridden Disease" I can feel the brutality of the Thrash of the Canadian combo mixed with tempo of The Haunted for example. I mean that the music is brutal, this is definitely Thrash Metal, not really in the vein of the Bay Area's one because it's also influenced by the riffs and the tempo of the Gothenburg Death.

The Demo is not bad at all, that's not a problem to listen to it but however if I think and regret that some songs are really better than some others. The melodies of "King Of Pain" or "Forbid" are excellent, catchy, technical etc but on the other hand the one of "Iced Ground" is not really new, and a bit boring. That's just a little problem but the fact that some songs can be repetitive can always be a bit problematic? However, in any case this album is a bad one at the opposite, but I think that the band can improve the music, especially with the originality of the melodies.

The production is ok, even if we found better lately with Demo, but the recording for this kind of music is ok. The artwork is really minimalist, too bad it can be better I think but at least there is a real professional work under this album? It doesn't smell the demo which was done without any interest?

This album is a good try and that's promising. Not really original sometime maybe but I think that the band will do something if they can find the perfect melody, and it will come when I see the songs of their 2nd demo? The ball is in their hands now, and if they follow this road I'm sure that they will find a deal with a label?
