Oh my! Sudden craving for ice cream?

As soon I saw the front cover of this Cd I knew something interesting was bound to happen in my discman, and I was partially right about it, because I found great AC/DC inspired Hard Rock with a lot of badass attitude (think females Motley Crüe), just what I wanted.

Slunt (please notice the pun here) hail from the big apple, New York City, and I assume they're heavily influence by the whole "garage band" scene in there. With this album this chicks (and 2 guys) deliver good, catchy modern-day Hard Rock. Lyrics have the "I don't give a fuck" attitude that we all love and hate, plus, these girls are hot AND talented! Again, what else could you ask for?

Of course don't even consider this Metal, call it Chick Rock, Hard Rock, Grrrrrl Rock, etc. A thousand names could apply here, so I just call it Slunt.
Singer Abbey Gennet has a sweet voice, she has one of those voices that can sound innocent and sleazy at the same time, a virginal vixen if you want to call it that way.

Of course, there's always a downpoint (you know there's always one) not all of the songs are as good as "Ok Ok" or "The Best Thing", although they gracefully cover Romeo Void classic song "Never Say Never".

If you really love Rock N' Roll this record is for you, truly a great option when you get tired of hearing shrieks and growls all day long.
Slunt proved once more that Hard Rock doesn't have to be cheesy or corny, so just go to their website and hear something to understand what I'm talking about!
