Finally it seems Post-Thrash or "Neo-Thrash" (as some people call it) arrived to Mexico with great force and awesome grip, The Fury I Hide is a thrashy band from Mexico City delivering music in the vein of The Haunted or Lamb Of God, surely this brand new act doesn't shine as brightly as any of the aforementioned bands, but they certainly have what it takes to be a very decent band from one of the most unfairly ignored countries in the Metal scene...

This is only an EP that goes under 20 minutes actually, so I wouldn't urge you people out there to buy it or find it ASAP, I do think we should keep an eye on this band for further information; with the new hype over this kind of bands many people will be searching for something new in the underground, after all the whole mexican crew already has bands like Raped God or Piraña to satisfy their Thrashing needs, but it's always good to see different faces playing good old violent riffs... and that's exactly where The Fury I Hide enters.

So anyway, I don't see this band touring through the whole planet and playing big stadiums or famous venues, at least not in the near future; but they will surely be a great "local" band to hunt while other "underground" Mexican names fly on the roster. While they might not be surprisingly original or overwhelming, their music is incredibly entertaining and catchy, that of course fills my needs for a band like this one.
