You start to see a different meaning to "The Decapitator's Prayer" after this. Again, it feels like, or maybe I just hope, that he's been gradually distancing himself from it, while never outright acknowledging it to begin with.

Don't know about like *ties* ties, but. He was quite a rightward leaning dude. There's a couple of his long interviews on YT, I only saw the recent one, and at many points it left me baffled.

That said, it doesn't help with some of his personal beliefs, many of which I can't get behind, although he seems to have been shedding some of it over the years. But his creative output is on point and important.

Brock is quite open about what inspires him as well. He's an incredibly well-read dude, and it shows, especially on Suns IV. He's become one of the best lyricists in metal.

There are two uncertainties in life: 1) What happens after you die. 2) Which part of The Suns Of Perdition series is the best one. This was one of the most compelling musical trips I have ever experienced.
