@Oreshkov: No one is saying you should be ashamed of being a white male. Rather to be aware that pride has an existential feel for minorities who were forced to be ashamed of their whole identity for so long. For us it's a given..

LGBTQ+ mean it in a way that says "I'm just as proud to be myself as anyone else". In the mouth of a white male (dominating class) it directly comes with a tint of "I'm proud to be better than the others".
