@Boxy dog allowed restaurants are really rare here too. Some bars and beer halls allowing pets are more common but none of those really serve food.

Where I spent most of my life so far, it'd be seen as wildly inconsiderate, there are dedicated places for that, otherwise it wouldn't be allowed. In Europe it's different, depends on the kind of place, and the kind of doggo too

It came up as a question in my cities Subreddit. I like dogs, but fido shouldn't be anywhere near a restaurant. Someone made a comment that out city is "behind the times" and "everywhere in the world allows dogs into bars" etc.
