What about the dude for Deafheaven?
Actually, I like Deafheaven a lot (including the vocals), but on an emotional level I find the others even more touching (which does not mean George Clarke's are not). For now I wanted to limit the list to the ones I really like the most, but maybe I will expand it in the future.

I am not a fan of Lake Of Tears but am glad to see you don't find Nick Holmes that emotional at all hahahahaha
I see you have Tom Philips up there as well, so you find him more emotional than Rain Irving on the last two? I hear lots of people actually find Rain more emotional, but I happen to agree that Tom is more emotional

Oh I like Lake Of Tears a lot and I find Brennare's performance on Headstones absolutely stunning.
And yes, I prefer Tom Phillips over Rain Irving. Rain is an amazing singer, but (especially concerning emotions) Tom is without a doubt my favourite. Glad you agree with it

Was Quorthon a chance? He's pretty passionate(?) on his viking albums, especially the Nordland albums.
I always thought AA Nemtheanga was his real name.

Definitely agree with most of these names, haven't heard of 40 Watt Sun, Sólstafir or Ahab vocalists though.

You definitely should check them out. Even though some people can't stand Patrick Walker's voice, I think it's the most emotional I've ever heard in my life.
And for Ahab I just love how Droste switches from deep growls to clean voice. They are both equally good.
Tryggvason's voice is quite special I find. I'd recommend one of their last 3 albums (when they changed their style drastically); they are amazing, especially the last one.

Well... Maybe because Warning is in my favourite bands and in some of my lists? Or what are you trying to say?

Dare you say AA Nemtheanga's a girlish dude D: ? If it were a girlish list you'd see the singer of 30 Seconds To Mars... Singers here send shivers down the spine, too sad you can't feel it

Imo, Quorthon has a voice that fits along with his music, but it's not an amazing voice. Even on the viking albums you can really tell he can't sing x)

Exactly what I was about to say. There couldn't have been a vocalist who fitted his music better, but his voice alone (without his incredibly epic music) really isn't the greatest.

Strike 1: Dude, singer of 30 Seconds to Mars first of all is not featured here in MS and yeah he leads a leading role model of "pretty" girlish stuff.
Strike 2: All singers are emotional in their true stories. its just that they've a different way to express. so no point of obliterating these top 10 singers on their "cracking down tears guys" from others.
Strike 3: Meh. its too boring.

Could you chance Warrel Dane, Peter Steele and lastly believe it or not but Johan Hegg at times can be suprisingly rightly emotional for the list?
Hum, not really. I can't stand Pete's voice at all; I can't really judge Warrel Dane, because I dislike Nevermore; and for Johan Hegg, well, I agree that he can be emotional at times (f. ex. on Under The Northern Star), but generally he's surely not the first singer who springs to my mind when I think about emotions.

Vielleicht Matt Barlow of Iced Earth? Obwohl I don't know if he's emotional, or just extremely powerful ^^
