Have you guys heard Aldious? pretty good power metal from Japan. despite of his name hasn´t "japan" in it  , I think represent very well their country, or maybe Chthonic.

Well just some considerations to improve the list: Brazil (I would go for Angra, but maybe Sepultura has more internatinal influence) Spain (Dark Moor is great but I would go with Warcry they sing in spanish and are a pretty great band) Chile (just know Six Magics they sing about Chile's Mythology) Colombia (I'm from Colombia and can say that Kraken is the more influential metal band in the country although it is not featured in metalstorm  )France(what about Adagio, Heavenly, Manigance? never heard of gojira  )Argentina(Rata Blanca, they only sing in spanish but I can say they are the most representative band from Argentina and have a great influence on South America metal scene) Germany(Blind Guardian is great but what about Helloween?) Netherlands(Epica, After Forever, or another symphonic gothic metal band from there as I believe is the country with the most influence in that subgenre)

Forget about my suggestions for France, Gojira seems to be the most representative after a little research after all, and on Spain representativee it would seem that Dark Moor is more known in english speaking countries and Warcry in spanish speaking ones.

Chile I would suggest either Pentagram (with their black/thrash sound) or the, sadly, disbanded Mar de Grises, Chile is currently more known for its doom scene than any other scene.
