Cool ranking, I definitely agree that The New Order is Testament's best album. I would personally switch The Legacy with Practice and The Gathering with Souls Of Black but I mean we got the same Top 6 arranged differently. Not a big surprise for most fans of Testament I'm sure lol.
Also, I'm not the biggest fan of The Formation Of Damnation which I would probably put close to last.

Swap 1 and 3 as well as 2 and 5 and it’s perfect.

Are you somehow suggesting that "The Gathering" is better than "The New Order" ? I'm sure you wouldn't voluntarily imply that... Right?

You bet your sweet bippy I would. The Gathering is pretty much Testament's M16/The Antichrist/Violent Revolution, with a revitalized sound (probably thanks to the inclusion of Lombardo and DiGiorgio), meanwhile The New Order was disappointing after the amazing debut and is mostly filler with two or three good songs and an AWFUL fucking Aerosmith cover.

Blasphemy at best, except for the Aerosmith cover, you're right about that it's terrible. Only that though. 2 or 3 good songs? Please... Disciples Of The Watch, The Preacher, Into The Pit, Trial By Fire, Eerie Inhabitants... Legit baffled by that statement.
Like 3 of their top 5 most played songs live are from The New Order. 4 from that same album on the top 10 which makes it essentially the album that has the most songs played live consistently and has the most representation. Not even gonna go deeper than that in popularity stats, I really don't need to. It's absolutely legit that you prefer The Gathering though, it's a great album tbh.
But do not disrespect The New Order you filthy mönkey!

The gathering it is a great record actually is gonna be my 6th but in the last years a little bit tire of the ritual and the gathering sound fresh. I know for the new listeners the gathering probably is the number one or the top 3 at least

I have a special predilection for the new order but the aerosmith cover doesn’t improve the record in fact the song sounds pretty good on Testament. I think they don’t have enough songs to fill the record but in the end I don’t mine really

The songs on new order are in the top of every Testament fan I think 4 or 5 songs of the record still playing live by the band.

I think Brotherhood and Damnation are better while for me Practice, despite the first record I've heard from them is not number 2 (not even top 5), otherwise it's well put. Also, Souls Of Black absolutely deserves some form or rework cause by far the production is the weakest point of that album.

Practice it is a great record no doubt about it, Souls Of Black is their best record musically but the poor sound and precarious production fails in what this record had too sound. The records after the The Gathering, to my ears sounds with an excessive production and too much studio processing it doesn’t matter if Steve D Giorgio plays bass or Gene Hoglan plays drums the mix sounds great but with too much of everything. The perfect mix and sound of Testament is on Gathering. Titans are great too the songs are power-full but fails in the production with all those effects and studio effects. Top to bottom Testament it is a great band and all the records are in the top from 10 to 7.5

Between 8 to 7 not far from the top… not one of my favorites but a good record great sound terrific songs like Low, Dog Faced God, Shades Of War for example, maybe the line up when Testament made the record doesn’t was the best.
