Fuck I just brought Black Crows Cyborg from 1st person like it was nothing after 1st listen. The Barbed Wire Swimming Pool Splatter edition, man the FOMO gets real when concerning the hipster attraction this duo receives.

Definitely the most satisfying Merzbow collab I've encountered so far and actually the best balanced. Prurient base side A, Merzside B. Feels more EP weighty.

The artwork is neat for this too. Reminiscent to the use of rustic minimalism found in The Downward Spiral. Very cool package and clever choice to add to the effect of the art's industrial ruin theme going the embossed titles route that if anyone catches my posts I always love to add more, well art here.

Why isn't Prurient on here if Merzbow is?

Why isn't Prurient on here if Merzbow is?

Prurient didn't collab with Full Of Hell or Boris.

But maybe someday.

All Prurient needs to do is a collab with someone on here as I don't recall Death Grips and many more needing to, hell even Mortiis.

Kinda patronizing ironically if you can see where after the last topic's discussion (The Armed - Ultrapop) about criticizing the inclusion of metal adjacent compared to metal-absent artists when I expect you to reply in strewing out original context sadly down to a one-liner... And I just suggested Duma.

You reaaaaally have a thing for Death Grips, don't you?

Mortiis released metal stuff.

Thanks for reminding me about Duma. We did talk about adding them and got the green light, but I promptly forgot to do it. Will do it tomorrow.

As for Prurient. I'll think about it, and I'm mostly in favor.

I tried to. I remember a decent quantity of initially rock to electronic to folk to general experimental artists be on here in that order that it was a matter of time and was no going back. Adding also that they specifically didn't require a link connection to anyone which to be reasonable at the time likely Mortiis was included before the 2016 release. If you have that kind of archival web engineering capabilities in checking to be able to see dates that would be unique.

I take it the Duma green light was a while ago, it seemed like your thing to want to explore publishing on here but might be too late??

Never did I expect a few weeks back to not only retry Frozen Niagra Falls after really enjoying specific tracks back during release but to then go out and FOMO this package which is a beautiful design, to say the least. There definitely needs to be collecting threads if they're not a thing still afaik.
