If you happen to be familiar with the bloodthirsty deathgrind act Exhumed, you should know what to expect from them by now. This is a band that has always provided some solid deathgrind material, with uncanny influences from their more than likely idols Carcass, and this tenth release, To The Dead, is no exception. Well, this certainly is Exhumed. This album is reminiscent of all their previous releases, kinda being like a combination of everything. The old Slaughtercult rip your face off pace and heaviness, but also the melodic elements of Necrocracy scattered throughout. As a fan, I am more than pleased with this. I especially enjoy 'Lurid, Shocking, and Vile' and 'No Headstone Unturned'.

Yep, this is Exhumed alright, brutal, ferocious, groovy and downright heavy as always, the songwriting is quite predictable but it's still an enjoyable listen after all, I expected nothing less tbh
