I dislike this album on two aspects:
First is the mixing that pitch everything really high to the point it hurts to hear for a long time. This kind of post production to make things louder and higher feel kinda cheap, akin to bands on more extreme genres that make everything as raw and rough as possible to make it feel "trve".

The second point would be that at this point the band didnt still find the style that would fit them much better on the 3 later albums. There are a lot of good power metal here but not much in the originality aside from the consolidation of the faster tempos and lyrical content that really only this band have.

The rest is fine and praiseworthy

Metal Rasputin

Awesome Stratovarius/Angra/Helloween-inspired symphonic power metal. It's almost too melodic for its own good, if you know what I mean. I can't imagine everyone enjoying this much cheesiness, but I've personally heard much worse.
