Not my favourite sub-genre of metal, however this is solid repetitive doom (kinda stoner-ish) that is relatively easy to follow and focus does not get lost as in more progressive technical sub genres. If there weren`t some longer songs on it it would require little effort to rate it and analyze it properly. I had to give it a few spins though! if i`d based my rating on one or two initial spins it would be rated maybe 7 definitely not 8. I saw some potential in it and gave it a few more listens and i am glad i did.
