It has nothing to do with Thrash Metal anymore. It's modern, melodic metal, well played, but no longer Dust Bolt. In a few moments the Thrash Metal Roots shine through briefly, but that's it. It all sounds very commercial, the thrashers will turn away from the band. Listeners from mainstream rock will definitely come along. For me the album is disappointing, I expected something different from this band.

Well said, I'm really disappointed by this too. There were always signs there that they might go down this path, but this album was a giant leap in that mainstream modern metal direction. I also don't see that it will work for them, as I doubt that they have a chance to break into the mainstream, unless they have a major backer behind them. It's a shame, as they were one of the best of the retro thrash bands
