It’s been a sticky road to release for Karma, but eventually Myrath’s newest effort has been let loose in thee world. Thankfully, after all the kerfuffle, this new album has turned out to be worth waiting for.

I didn't even know they were working on new music, I'm looking forward to listening to this.

Myrath is one of my favorite bands. How come it's leaked and already got few votes..???
Noooo.... They deserve better... Waiting for official release.

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘

Listening to it... Even more accesible than Legacy (their top album to me) but not always in a good way.
It is a good album but maybe less unique in sound than before.

What is up with this album? The band hasn't even mentioned its existence... Is it the real thing?

That would explain the lack of promotion...

Anyway, since it somehow leaked, I do not see the point in holding the release on streaming platforms.
Even if the physical copies are in delay, they could start the pre-order and release the music on streaming, maybe inventing some bonus content for the pre-order.
Because right now they are just "losing" all the streaming listens of the songs...
But it could be I am missing some point.

I remember Monolithe having a similar situation a few years ago and they just went ahead and released the album after it was leaked, which I felt was the best response. It could well be that the impact they anticipate on physical sales of having the album streaming to everyone for several months beforehand is greater in terms of losses than whatever they're missing out on from a subset of people listening to the leak instead of a legit stream (considering how miniscule the amount of money per stream is), but I tend to agree with you that it seems like it would be better to have it officially released rather than letting people's opinions on the album be dominated by the leaked copy

I listened to this based on the fact that so many in the community seemed hyped for it. Now, I'm not gonna call this a bad album, because it definitely isn't. But I'm very picky with power metal stuff. I'd definitely revisit this because it was quite enjoyable for something that isn't something I usually love. I'm certainly not surprised that others love it. I'd be interested to maybe check out their most popular album.

On my first listen -- so far this is all killer no filler. Loving how forward the bass is in the mix. Vocals are superb. Nice melodies and choruses. The singles were all great. Words Are Failing is an easy early highlight. Great track.

I don't think it rivals Tales Of The Sands when it comes to their best work, but is still moderately enjoyable, and arguably gets a bit stronger as it progresses

Edit: with several more listens, I've definitely warmed quite a bit to it - a lot of very catchy and well produced songs here

To the Stars and Candles Cry are catchy as hell.. but apart from those it just feels bland. There's just no spark or innotivity.

If 'catchy' is what you have found interesting with them, how did you miss 'Heroes' and 'Child of Prophecy's.!!!

Somehow I did not get the same level of enthusiasm as I had from their last outing but still I love their style of middle eastern folk mix. Still some tracks here sounded more like rock than metal. Candles Cry is super catchy but it reminded me somewhere a Bon Jovi.

No offence but I thought those two were among the weakest on the album Probably should have singled out The Empire as well as it has a Kamelot feel over it, the singer sounds a bit like Khan in the verses.
