Me too, even if it does end up sounding like a Kata-clone-ia. Which judging by the last album is pretty likely.

Released in 3 days time!!!!
They have been going progressively downhill with each release IMO but i will hope & pray that they will be back to the standards of 'Songs To Leave' with this one

Just heard this earlier today, and (to keep with the motif of 2011) I was honestly surprised. It's melody-heavy, not as doom-oriented (though the influence is still undeniably there), more traditional black metal. Morbid still hits his high notes with ease, and at times he has this Tagtgren-"era" Bloodbath thing going on. Really good stuff: pleasantly surprised.
PS - that Stooges cover is ridiculously catchy!

Yeah, I made it through one sitting of the record but I don't think I'll be re-visiting it any time soon to be honest. There are far better records floating around at the moment.

I agree with Troy here, i wasnt expecting much at all from this album but was pleasantly surprised. Ok its nothing like Songs To Leave but i have long since given up on FT returning to the great black / doom sound. But judging it as more of a melodic black metal album with doom influences, i have to say i quite enjoyed it.
'Downlift' & 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' are the highlights for me.
