Rating: 8 The one thing Absu seem to excel at is epic atmosphere, and the band certainly don't lack that on this album. It's obviously more ambitious than their debut album, what with longer songs, additional vocals and instruments, and you can also notice the progression the band were making into later albums such as 'Tara' and their self-titled. My only quip is with the vocals which to me seem a bit one-dimensional, but they generally fit the music well.
