Let's face it, having to replace band members can be a career altering pain, but having to replace an entire line-up (save for the vocalists) could have been down-right career ending for what was left of 3 Inches Of Blood, extreme pressure to say the least. Luckily the band managed to remedy this problem with moderate success with the latest offering, "Fire Up The Blades".

This album kicks ass. Heavy instrumentation, good production. Powerful, but not over the top vocals. Hate to agree with K7 but at times it sounds like a metalcore/power metal love child.

Also, "Fire Up The Blades" is THE ultimate power metal album title.

I remember seeing these guys at Ozzfest 2007 right after this album came out. It was my first metal concert. This is still one of my favorite albums of all time, Advance And Vanquish as well.
