AC/DC is part of the little crowd of bands who don't need to be introduced to anyone: almost everybody has heard them or, at least, heard OF them. They're the band which accompanied me through my slow conversion from commercial punk to metal, and I owe them in particular three releases: this, the worldwide famous Back In Black and the last one, Black Ice.

One of the first three cassette tapes I ever bought. Even this goofy 12-year old could tell. One of a kind. Unforgettable.

Full of catchy hooks, groovy riffs, and some seriously brilliant solos. It's not all about Angus Young, but he does a good job of keeping this album concise and consistently of great quality. There isn't really a bad song here, with fast little rockers ('Get it Hot' and 'Girls got rhythm'), statements of intent ('Walk all over you') and slightly disturbing yet equally as satisfying stormers ('Night crawler'). Certainly one of the best rock albums ever.
