Not sure if you've found what you were looking for since this post (I just came across it today), but you might want to check this out.

Still the best thing Bloodbath ever did IMO. Now imagine this (or their first album) with Tagtgren on vocals.

Every song on here is chaotic. This EP may be the band's first release, but it's a brilliant one at that.

Disagree... Mikael was perfect here. I just can't picture Tagtgren on this EP and the debut... not brutal enough.

Tagtgren is the most overrated vocalist ever. Completely uninteresting style and sound. You'd have to be batty to think he'd suit this record more.

Yeah it really is strange. His vocals are so completely average.

The only time I've really liked Tagtgren's vocals was during his time with Bloodbath. That being said, he was suited for that album and that album only. His higher pitch worked with the songs in a way that Åkerfeldt's vocals wouldn't. And the same can be said for the rest of the band's discography - Tagtgren doesn't have the depth to compete with Åkerfeldt.

His high-pitch screams are very distinctive.... and his growl tone is easy to recognise as his, same with his clean vocals.
So I wouldn't call him average, though it doesn't mean he has to be great (but I'm a Hypocrisy fanboy so he is !!! )
That said, Åkerfeldt has deeper voice that might work better with Bloodbath.

Looking back at that comment now it is hard to imagine Peter being on those albums, and nowadays I agree with you.

This is easily the best Bloodbath release and my favorite Akerfeldt release ever.

I disregard everything after a bands first release. Bands should breakup after one album, or better yet one demo, OR even better one band practice. Actually, scratch that, bands shouldn't exist....

I have this one in a tie with the debut... Man these guys went down quite fast after this. They need to listen to this EP and the debut again to remember how fantastic that guitar tune and the overall production were.

Agreed. Their newer material is decent in short bursts, but trying to their newest album in it's entirety becomes extremely boring (same goes for all of their post "Resurrection" material)

No shit, best Bloodbath release, and one that has a bad habit of rendering other old-school Swedish death metal bands and albums irrelevant in its simplicity and succinctness. Not sure I'd call it Akerfeldt's best related album but up there for sure.
