Damn, this metalcore tag will keep away many people to listening this great band (album)... Am I the only one who can't hear much metalcore here? This is melodic death/thrash, style similar to Sylosis'.. So, can anyone correct that??

agreed the vocals are awesome , great drums but the best is the guitarwork: the riffs and the solos left me speechless.

"they left me speechless" that is the perfect word you can say about these guys in this album ,best song is "of gods and men"
and i guess they are a Melodic Metalcore band

This album is soooo great, BFMV should take example from these welsh compadres and put some more heaviness in their next album.

Agreed. Frankly, I don't really get the Metalcore label for a lot of bands that get stuck with it. It's primarily because of the way the vocalist sounds, yeah? As for these guys, it's definitely on the melodic thrash and death tip. Agree too there is some reminiscence of Sylosis, which is a very good thing.

Nope. In fact the vocalist doesn't really sound like that at all, these are vocals I'd expect from melodeath. It probably gets the metalcore label because this is essentially early AILD-istic melodic metalcore with some thrash elements and extra leads added which probably makes the difference since the AILD-style metalcore often lacks very pronounced leads and solos which this album is quite full with.
The rhythmic department is 100% metalcore with tons of (metalcore-style, for those who would want to point out that breakdowns do not define metalcore, and yes I am perfectly aware of that) breakdowns and mosh-able elements.
