22:31 - Lokaeda @DarkSymphony: Not doom, but you might want to give Enemite a try. Also a band from China.
22:28 - MechanisT @DarkSymphony: That was pretty neat, I have to say. I'll check that one out soon enough.
22:22 - EMols86 @DarkSymphony Never heard Chinese doom metal before, haha. I'll give it a shot. Also, why isn't this album in your avantgarde list? [link]

Not much difference in style from their previous albums but there was something about it that I found really enjoyable. After listening to Soul Temptation, Liquid Monster and Downburst again I realized what it was. Production. Wow. The previous 3 were too compressed like 99.9% of releases these days but Memorial Roots just sounds FANTASTIC! Brainstorm, you get for saying "screw you" to the Loudness War!
Im a big Brainstorm fan, but I was bored listening to this album. Maybe I'll give it another listen, but I was really disappointed when I first heard it.
Good Heavy Metal here, i like a lot the begining of this record, the first four songs. It after is a little more weak, but still good songs like "Ahimsa", "Victim" or "Would You".
