Saga does a pop record. Kind of a mistep after the rocking solid The Security of Illusion. It's a lighthearted record where the band seems to having fun and in some cases it works. Why Not, Shake that Tree and Password Pirate are for what it is nice pop songs. I Walk With you
is the best song though, a beautiful ballad piece with great vocals by Sadler. I guess most people hate this record but atleast it's worthy to check out the songs I mentioned if you like Saga.

Listening now after rather long time, definitely not a bad album, I like it, it's poppy indeed.
I'd rate it a 6.5, an above average affair for me, I can't rate it a 6 but i can't rate it a 7 either.

I was on the verge of putting a 6 but apart from the songs I mentioned the rest are pretty "useless". As this record was written largely to be soundtracks songs to a canadian tv show I get why it so different from their previous stuff.

I never heard or read that they did this album for a tv show, but i did read someplace this album was initially recorded for a try out of a new recording studio.

On Wikipeda it says in the history chapter that they wrote it for a show called Cobra. There's no references to the quote but I remember it was confirmed in the official Saga facebook group.
