As you may have heard if you have any interest in Accept whatsoever, Udo doesn't participate in this latest incarnation of the band, but fear not, as you are to be treated with extremely similar vocals (with a hint of Rob Halford and an American accent) from Mark Tornillo, a former vocalist for an unknown band called TT Quick.

Does anybody else think that the lyrical content and writing is a little shallow and lazy? I mean the subject matter is not very deep, thought provoking. These subjects in each song have been used many times before, and they are kind of cliche themes of metal. Also, what is up with Mark having to write rhyming lyrics in almost every song. Now come on, if you don't think that is a little bit like a teenager writing lyrics for his neighborhood metal band that practices in the basement then maybe you haven't been a teenager who wrote those kinds of lyrics yourself *blushes from embarassment*. I'm not ragging on Accept. I just saw them with Kreator, and both bands were really entertaining and put on a great show. It's just a medium-sized criticism I have about their music. On the other hand, they do have some really really killer riffs and grooves, and Mark's voice is very sharp, crisp just the way we like our metal "Rippers". Also, some of their better songs off of Blood of the Nations and Stalingrad create vividly painted imagery and atmospheres. Let me know what you guys think if you have an opinion about Accept with Mark Tornillo.

Amazing album. I'm new in metal, so I started collecting their earlier albums with Udo at first, but his voice was irritating to me. I don't have anything against the guy, it's just his voice and singing style is not my thing. I was close to give up on them when I got this album from my dad, and it blew me away. Mark's voice fits the band perfectly, even if it's not that far from Udo's. Absolutely in love with this album, and as somone wrote it earlier, it gives class to many legendary bands who thought making a pure heavy metal album is not a good idea these days. Well, Blood Of The Nations proved them wrong.

From this 65+ minutes of material I must say most is killer. It maybe be released in 2010, but to me this sounds like Accept in 1980s.
