The first thing that strikes me about this album is how well-written and performed it is. The second thing that strikes me is just how pale it sounds despite this impeccable songwriting and musicianship. Daylight Dies are expert at their craft, it's just a shame that that craft isn't all that compelling in the genre of melodic doom to which they opt to perform.

Looking forward to this one. I've always enjoyed their albums, but they were not the type of albums that I would listen to a lot or often. So far, however, with the 2 songs they've released...this album might be different.

Been looking forward to this for a long while and I have to say I'm definitely not disappointed. I love how unpredictable their melodies and chord progressions are.

Not sure where the final rating will go, but this is at least a 9 and possibly a 10 for me.

I really enjoyed "Dismantling Devotion" but this may be their best album yet! Awesome stuff.

If the rest of the songs have the quality the last song has, it would be a masterpiece.

Okay, I'm satisfied this deserves a rating of 8 now. If I could go to fractions, then it would be a solid 7.8.

Been listening to this a lot lately. Underrated album, great guitar melodies and solos and I like the clean vocals.
