The Project Hate MCMXCIX is a band whose existence I was aware of, yet I never had the chance to listen to, but with their brand new 2011 release I managed to get a glimpse of what they are about, in the present of course. Bleeding The New Apocalypse (Cum Victriciis In Manibus Armis) is its title and the cover artwork serves its purpose well concerning the first impression it wants to give; a mystical, mechanized, apocalyptic scenery with eulogies from the future.

The only album I have from this band is "The Lustrate Process"....and I like it very much. Do you know anything about their older releases?

My personal favorite is 'In Hora Mortis Nostrae' from 2007, it's very similar to 'Process.' 2005's Armageddon March Eternal is good as well, just not as great; it has a few more hiccups in it, not as brutal, and has a little more synth to it. Everything else before 2005 has a LOT more synth to it. In my opinion, every album released by The Project Hate is better than its preceding album.

Ok! Sounds like I should start at the beginning of their discography and work my way forward. Thanks for the insight!

I would be inclined to agree with fleshcrawl. While all albums by this amazing band are good, even albums like "cybersonic superchrist", I will most definitley say that based on their track record of album progression this will be a magnum opus of epic proprtions.

It will take a lot more listens for it all to sink in and to truly judge how it compares with the rest of their work, but my first impressions are that it is absolutely amazing and quite possibly their best work yet.

I think they've gotten worse with every release, and judging by a few songs from this... it's no exception.

Most likely. I think it sounds like a complete mess.

Is this the one they recorded using money from fans' donations? Because that would make sense.
