One of the best mixtures within different styles. Many should learn from them!

A great album and no mistake. Think a lot of people will be retroactively adding this to their top 2010 lists.

Thoroughly great disc. I've already ordered the longsleeve shirt from the band's page, that's how much I like it. If more bands released albums like this I'd have a drastically different playlist for genres, that's for sure. I love the use of the clip from the film Sunshine as well.

Regarding the votes this release should be on MS top 20 of 2010 on 1st place. I don't know why it isn't ?!

The band's profile is invisible. Ask a Staff Member and they will make it visible, thus enabling it to get into the top 20. The same thing happened with Shining.

And once done, it will remain first for only a few hours just like Blackjazz. Nothing out of the ordinary...
BTW, good album, for sure.

As you're the one of the staff members try to make this band visible. They certainly deserve this. I know what will happen, because the die hard fans of Agalloch will vote against it...:noidea:

Finally had a chance to hear this baby. Very good album...I love the fluidity of the album and the male and female vocals are very nice. The last few minutes of Moloch are sensational; what a climax to end the album!
Avant-garde metal album of the year? I don't know about that...let's just say Alcest, Shining, Rosetta and Sigh produced INCREDIBLE albums in 2010. This album still destroys most of 2010, though. Another reason why there needs to be both a Post-Metal category and an Avant-Garde Metal category for the MS Awards (an opinion I will keep repeating).

Fan-fucking-tastic. I dig how most of the songs build up to utterly awesome climaxes before they are over. Great compositions indeed.

On return listens I found that the opening track towers above all the other tracks (much like that Ikuinen Kaamos record) which is a bit of a problem for me.

There's something about this album that caught my attention from the very first note. Then it just never let go until the very last second. Very impressive piece of work !!

This baby is going back up to a 9. After listening to it through and through for the past few weeks, there is a very nice flow going on between all the tracks. Plus, the drumming on Subway is absolutely insane. Definitely the best song on the album.
