The sound of A Blaze In The Northern Sky is responsible for creating DarkThrone's legacy. It has been apparent on every album ever since.

One of my favourite black metal albums of all time. I know this has everything a 'true' black metal album should have(according to some of the media anyway), but that doesn't take away its power and brilliant songwriting! 'Kathaarian Life Code' is colossal and the title track just blew me away at first listen! \m/
