Unholy Darkthrone was upon us again back in 1995 with their fifth release now on new label Moonfog under the watching eye of Satyricon-man Sigurd Wongraven, the band released a very anticipated album called Panzerfaust a.k.a. 'Tank-fist'. For people who liked their old productions won't be disappointed because Nocturno Culto, Zephyrous and Fenriz succeeded again to create that kind a music where black metal is just all about.

Rating: 8 I love this album, the vocals are obnoxious at first, but then you get used to it. Very catchy, sinister riffs also

Rating: 7 Good album but compared to its predecessors it isn't all that impressive. There's quite a lot of Celtic Frost influence here, most notably on 'The hordes of Nebulah' and 'Beholding the throne of might'. The faster paced songs are basically standard Black Metal Darkthrone, whereas the vocals, although unsurprising given that it's a black metal album, really don't do anything for me. All in all a good album for those who love Darkthrone, not so for those who haven't listened to the band before.

Rating: 10 Most people don't really like this album because the vocals are weird, but I think they suit the music. I especially like them on The Hordes Of Nebulah
