Wow!
A great post-rock album.
I really enjoyed it.
If you enjoy "Hands", check this out.

Again, I'm not sure about this one. There's some really cool atmosphere; clean/distorted vocals fit perfectly; shoegazy riffs and ethereal arpeggios sketch wonderful wintry landscapes; the bass is surprisingly prominent; and the strings ultimately surround everything with a captivating aura.
But overall it's just like the previous album - it goes absolutely fuckin' nowhere. Goddammit. Ambiance alone isn't enough to make memorable music; sometimes, not necessarily always, I'd just like to hear some actual songs with a distinguishable pattern (like on "Shimmer") instead of this cute yet shapeless meandering. And the main reason I'm disappointed is that all the ingredients for a great album are here, and I hear them clearly. A better blending would be much appreciated.

I think he means Dear Twilight.
Obviously he wants to address the cast, probably Kristen Stewart.
Found a great picture of her here ---> :|

Heh quite an overlooked album, I expected more people talking about it. Not that it was all awesome and stuff but it's one of the better metalgaze acts imo. This album in particular is nice, less black and more shoegaze/post-rock but I love the bass and keyboards here, really catchy.

Amazing album. Very nicely integrated black metal elements into shoegaze. A complete soundscape that invokes gentle emotions! Keep it up!

songs with a distinguishable pattern
Exactly. That's what I thought. If the structures were less complex, it would have done something IMO. Yet it's still one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard.
